I like the Vets in the clinic but the girls (receptionist and an aide) were rude, unprofessional and lacking in customer service hence the 1 star. I called to pick up our dog up around 9-10am after 2 days and a half of being admitted to say if it was possible to pick the dog up after lunch and was told to come over after lunch over the phone.
I was told on Saturday that the blood tests would be done by 11am and our dog could be picked up after lunch.
When I got there I was told to come back at 3pm coz the test were not done and the dog could not be release without a test.
I said to the girl that the test was just a repeat of the test done on friday and saturday which all showed improving blood results and they could not hold my dog due to a blood test that was non-critical.
I had to tell her I was an ICU nurse in australia with more than a decade of experience and my husband was a doctor for them to release my dog. And the truth came out, she did not want to release my dog because the Vet was not around and they have not prepared the script.
If she just told the truth and politely faced me rather than just telling me to come back at 3pm because of missing blood tests that I was told on saturday that would be done at 11am, I would have not minded.
For almost 10k for 2 days and a half, one would expect better customer service.
My dog is ok not great but better so they get 1 star.Nilda Briones
