So far, my family and I are happy with our furbaby's treatment here at Pendragon. Everyone was very accommodating and patient with answering questions. The app is a great tool for monitoring everything that's happening. The cost of the treatment and medication were enumerated through the app and had to be approved by the owner before payment. Our furbaby's x-ray scans were also uploaded to the app. So cool. I wish they had that at my son's pedia. :))

Although this may be irrelevant, I am writing this review with regards to the treatment my dog Jaja received several years ago.

I brought Jaja several times to Pendragon due to her high fever. Pendragon did not explain to me what was happening and they just performed several blood test (more than 5 times).

After the blood test, they just told me to go home and observe. What I wanted was an immediate measures for my dog and not simply a blood test. There was a time I asked for a shot for fever and they strongly rejected my request. They even told me that I am "killing" my dog by asking for the fever shot but my dog's temperature at that time was already at 40 degree Celsius.

So, while the blood test was ongoing, my dog started to have pus from her genitalia so I asked Pendragon to do the diagnosis on that, too. Now, after several days, I was told that my dog has Ehrlichiosis.

They performed vaginal smear during the in-house diagnosis but didn't inform me the result on the test.

Frustrated, I brought my dog to another clinic for secondary consultation and I was told immediately that my dog also has Pyometra and it was already in a serious state that requires immediate operation.

How is it that Pendragon failed to inform me of my dog's critical state? The vet I brought my dog to for secondary opinion, was able to diagnose Pyometra at Day 1.

This entire situation led me to suspect Pendragon for charging unnecessary fees to the owners. Enraged, I informed Pendragon that I am going to change the clinic and I filed a document that states that Pendragon will not be responsible for my dog's condition since I am changing the vet.

I am glad that I was able to change the clinic since if I left Jaja at Pendragon, she could have been in a "worse" situation.

The bills just keep changing - they wont tell you upfront what the cost would be so you can make an informed decision based on your resources. The initial quote they gave me for an operation for 'Georgia' was around 30K. This excludes the initial payment we made for the lab tests and the anaesthesia. It would have been up to 35K! They said they would give us 55% discount for the operation so the operation and 1-day confinement cost went down to around 15k. and then when we are finally ready to have Georgia go under the knife, there were new fees! so the 15K cost for the op and 1-day confinement went up to at least 20K! 😖

Was here few years back for an emergency. Rates are crazy, they initially said 6k then up to 16k, they suspected parvo, the shot they gave gave my angel allergies. so i instead transfered to up vet hospital, where it was cleared that my angels case was erlichia not parvo.

Great place for pets and pet lovers! Rest assured that knowledgable veterinary doctors will be handling your fur babies. Clean facility and very welcoming staffs are there to assist you and your pets. I Highly recommend this clinic!

I found a cat on the street and took him to this clinic because he looked like he was abandoned or lost from his mom and it was on the motorway.
So I had to pick him up otherwise he would be killed by cars.

I was waiting in this clinic about 30min and a nurse asked me my nationality.
And then she said the vet doesn't want to see my cat because I am a korean.......

What the hell..... it was so stupid....because this vet doesn't see any Korean's animals.
This vet doesn't care about the animals' life.

Hey vet! If you see this message, you should think about your job again. Vets means persons who save animal's life. So, you should not be called a vet.
You are shameful....

And thanks a lot for beautiful memory you gifted me.

Fortunately my cat is very well now.
And it was very lucky not to get treated from such stupid clinic.

High regard for the Pendragon team - everyone has genuine care for patients brought to their clinic. My husband and I had our cat checked about a month ago. He refused to eat and urinate for several days, lost a lot of weight, and very lethargic. Long story short, they were able to restore his health. Our Castle is still on prescription food until full recovery but he is back to his old self now.

What we liked about Pendragon was how they assessed our case - lab tests were done immediately, the attending vet consultant, Doc May, was very patient in handling Castle (he's a handful when stressed) and in explaining the details to us. It was an efficient process and the whole thing made us feel that the situation was not taken lightly. We've had several changes of vet clinics in the past mainly due to apparent insufficient care and consideration for pets and this is by far the best in our opinion. Going to Pendragon was the best decision we made. Hope the team will continue to help a lot more like us.

They have their own app where owners can see the records of their pets - prescription, lab test results, diagnoses, vital stats every visit, and even billing statements - which is very nice to have.

Their staff and volunteers are friendly. I can see their compassion for animals and their consideration for pet owners. It’s a little nerve wracking for fist timers tho. But just treat it like a normal encounter at a human hospital. And inform them beforehand if your pets has an infectious disease/s or you have an assumption that they do, you’ll be guided in their isolation waiting area.

Thank you to the wonderful team of Dr. Yao at Pendragon. Our Labrador has been finally discharged. She suffered from pyometra and had to undergo surgery. Dr. Yao and her team took time to discuss her condition, the options and the risks of the operation. There were no complications immediately post op and we are now looking forward to our girl’s speedy recovery.

Went here for our dog who has been diagnosed with Canine Distemper. He is now in the stage of illness where it is Neurologic and he is experiencing seizures. Our dog is on Phenobarbital but for some reason they charge WAY more for it than in Mercury drug. They also didn't explain to us fully why they couldn't give a prescription so we could buy it somewhere else in case of emergency. Then the time did came when we ran out of meds for our dog and they weren't open for you buying it unless thru consultation (which our dog already was in, we just needed to replenish so we could follow the dosage), on top of that they were charging 8k+ because of the emergency + holiday rate. He would miss his dose and they didn't even have the heart to accommodate our dog who is their existing patient. I am very disappointed by how your policies are setup and you wouldn't even reconsider your existing patients. I would also like to point out how you didn't take care of our dog while in confinement and when we went back for him he is so soiled and traumatized by his short stay there that it affected his health negatively.

Very professional and knowledgeable staff. They saved our dog from Parvovirus and are far better than the other vets we took our dogs to who were misinformed. Incidentally, the previous vets increased the likelihood of our dog obtaining Parvo in the first place.
