High regard for the Pendragon team - everyone has genuine care for patients brought to their clinic. My husband and I had our cat checked about a month ago. He refused to eat and urinate for several days, lost a lot of weight, and very lethargic. Long story short, they were able to restore his health. Our Castle is still on prescription food until full recovery but he is back to his old self now.
What we liked about Pendragon was how they assessed our case - lab tests were done immediately, the attending vet consultant, Doc May, was very patient in handling Castle (he's a handful when stressed) and in explaining the details to us. It was an efficient process and the whole thing made us feel that the situation was not taken lightly. We've had several changes of vet clinics in the past mainly due to apparent insufficient care and consideration for pets and this is by far the best in our opinion. Going to Pendragon was the best decision we made. Hope the team will continue to help a lot more like us.
They have their own app where owners can see the records of their pets - prescription, lab test results, diagnoses, vital stats every visit, and even billing statements - which is very nice to have.Loise Madriaga
Their staff and volunteers are friendly. I can see their compassion for animals and their consideration for pet owners. It’s a little nerve wracking for fist timers tho. But just treat it like a normal encounter at a human hospital. And inform them beforehand if your pets has an infectious disease/s or you have an assumption that they do, you’ll be guided in their isolation waiting area.Margaret Therese Bendebel
Thank you to the wonderful team of Dr. Yao at Pendragon. Our Labrador has been finally discharged. She suffered from pyometra and had to undergo surgery. Dr. Yao and her team took time to discuss her condition, the options and the risks of the operation. There were no complications immediately post op and we are now looking forward to our girl’s speedy recovery.Vinny Mark
Went here for our dog who has been diagnosed with Canine Distemper. He is now in the stage of illness where it is Neurologic and he is experiencing seizures. Our dog is on Phenobarbital but for some reason they charge WAY more for it than in Mercury drug. They also didn't explain to us fully why they couldn't give a prescription so we could buy it somewhere else in case of emergency. Then the time did came when we ran out of meds for our dog and they weren't open for you buying it unless thru consultation (which our dog already was in, we just needed to replenish so we could follow the dosage), on top of that they were charging 8k+ because of the emergency + holiday rate. He would miss his dose and they didn't even have the heart to accommodate our dog who is their existing patient. I am very disappointed by how your policies are setup and you wouldn't even reconsider your existing patients. I would also like to point out how you didn't take care of our dog while in confinement and when we went back for him he is so soiled and traumatized by his short stay there that it affected his health negatively.Richard Christie
Very professional and knowledgeable staff. They saved our dog from Parvovirus and are far better than the other vets we took our dogs to who were misinformed. Incidentally, the previous vets increased the likelihood of our dog obtaining Parvo in the first place.
